What’s really strange is that people will say this to me even when I’m not taking anything personally or upset at all! HSPs wear a sign that basically tell others to walk on eggshells around us. It’s disappointing because no amount of self-work or meditation makes a difference. It doesn’t matter if we don’t feel we are being over sensitive…other people will think so. I often wonder how people would treat me if I didn’t have this condition. But, I’m working on thinking of it as a gift and not a curse.
