Taking the Christ Out of Christmas

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday — which is odd, as I haven’t been a Christian in 23 years. The nice thing about this massively commercialized holiday is that it’s acceptably secular enough for everyone to celebrate. Whether or not you’re spiritual, if you’re in the U.S., it’s typically a time to take off work(!) and gather with family or friends.
