I’ve recently learned how many people are making money by telling other people how to make money. Add in the rise of multi-level marketing schemes and network marketing schemes, and you’ve got a bunch of people who are making big bucks by selling fake positivity to each other. What distresses me, as a small business owner, is that these people fancy themselves entrepreneurs! I would much rather buy a book from someone who has done the things they advise others to do rather than parroting common talking points.
