I like that, “to the best of your ability.” I agree that exercise and meditation both have measurable health benefits. If we approach a loved one with advice to do these things, we can present it in an empowering way rather than insisting or guilting — especially if we don’t exercise or meditate ourselves! — and phrasing it in terms of “doing your best” is a more person-oriented and thus effective approach.
