Great piece. As someone with invisible illness, I definitely empathize with a lot of these situations, and I’m appalled that often, the same people who cut in line for an accessible stall also feel like they can pass judgment on who actually needs it. (I’ve had people criticize me for using elevators, and I need those.) And dear lord, the number of people who feel entitled to touch strangers in order to “help” them is alarming… I hope your piece reaches someone who needs to hear this stuff and stop being an ass!
