As a fellow fan of this genre, I love this piece! I’m working on an academic paper about FF films and how they play with our perceptions of reality by inverting the common styles of filmmaking. (I do take issue with your statement that BWP is unquestionably the best, but I digress.) You should also check out VHS if you haven’t yet, and Zero Day (be forewarned, it’s disturbing).
